At last, joined having been looking on this wonderful site for the last few months. It finally feels like our purchase is happening and we cant wait to come over next month to complete. We found our little place in the sun last June and have been patiently waiting for the legal bits to be sorted out. Been very envious watching posts from others completing! Everyone is so friendly and helpful on here, its been great checking in and now to be a part of it.

Welcome and well done wish you all the best for your completion. We found ours July but didn't complete till December again due to all legalities with the sale and purchase.
If you are any thing like us you will be having lots of sleepless nights one minute on a high the next thinking have we done the right thing. But once you complete its so exciting.
We have already decorated and started to put our own stamp on our holiday home and we are thrilled to pieces. We stayed at Christmas and can't Waite th o go back. Let us know how you get on, this site is brilliant. All the best

Hi again Nikki and Graham,
Yes that's a good way of putting it, as well as shocks along the way!
I was so emotional that when we went back in November to sort our NIE I cried!
Husband was more matter of fact, but I had waited so long to realise the dream.
I was glad when we finally signed at notary, but even that day we had a problem
Thankfully it was resolved.I am sure all will go well for you then you can start to enjoy your dream too good luck

Hello nikki&graham,

:text-welcomewave:

Welcome to TalkQuesada. So glad you found us and joined the forum. Hope you continue to find lots of help and information for your new property in Quesada. It's a lovely place to be and there's plenty to do and so many places to visit in the surrounding areas.

We have had our holiday home in Quesada for almost 8 years now and can still feel that rush of excitement every time we plan to visit. There's always so much to look forward to and so many places we still haven't been and so many things we still haven't done.

Hope all goes well next month. You may have already seen it but there is some helpful information for moving into a new home on this topic : safety-security-information-and-property-in-spain-hints-and-tips-f78/moving-into-your-new-property-security-tips-t1399.html

Look forward to seeing you on the forum and if you have any questions about anything please just ask. There will always be someone who can help you here on the forum.

Good luck,

Jan.
