Hola! Everyone.

Hola! Everyone.

Well after four years of umming and ahhing I've made the jump and moved to more relaxed and (after 22 years of living in The Broads) hopefully sunnier climbs :) All unpacked and it feels like someone has pulled the lid off a pressure cooker.

About me, well single, but not looking in any sense at all. I've two children aged 27 & 29. Used to work as an IT lecturer in Norfolk, so if you need free help or advice on anything technical I'm your man, as long as I can do it without leaving the comfort of my breakfast bar that is!

Looking forward to finding nice restaurants, eating olives and just relaxing by the pool, catching up on 20 years of reading.

I'm Paul by the way, and I hope to meet you all over the next few years. I'll be the man with a slightly confused look upon his face :text-lol:

Thanks

Hello Paul,

:text-welcomewave:

Welcome to talkQuesada. Hope you enjoy the forum and find lots to interest you on here.

There are plenty of swap-shops in the area for books and I find the charity shops around Quesada also have an abundance of books to choose from.

We have numerous restaurants shown here on TalkQuesada if you need any suggestions of where to go - You will be spoiled for choice!

Also if you have any questions to help you as you settle in to your new life, don't hesitate to ask on the forum - We are a friendly bunch.

Thanks so much for the welcome - I've got about 1200 books on the kindle completely free (have to love torrents) - so looking forward to some nice reading with a good glass of Rioja.

Hi Paul
Welcome to this lovely place... we know just how daunting it can be..we ourselves have only been here for 3months & already now that we have settled in to our place & had our first lot of visitors we still look out to the mountains & pinch ourselves! The climate itself is a godsend for my partner who suffers with Ataxia..I have noticed his "restless legs" syndrone has so improved I'm sure due to the warmer climate
We are still trying the local bars/restaurants..great fun in itself!
Anyhow hope you get settled & enjoy this lovely pace of life :text-welcomewave:

Hi Paul,

Hope you have settled into your new relaxed lifestyle ok!
I too have just purchased in Quesada though only for (frequent) holidays at the mo! I also have a 28 and 29 year old - though he turns 30 this month (yikes!) and the 28 year old is getting married in June :-)
As coincidences go - I also have 1200+ books on my Kindle so when I come over next week I shall be doing a lot of reading (in the sun hopefully!)and partaking of some nice wine!

The coincidences of our circumstances prompted me to reply.

Cheers!
