Yours is the time to buy now Neil. Prices of villas now the price our place on a community was at 9 years ago, cheap mortgage deals, a stock or low priced properties with owners willing to bite your hand off. Good luck on your search and as Jan says, find a good legal representative.

Hi guys n gals, big thanks for your replies. Looking at visiting mid January, hopefully this time we'll find a property. I've sent out emails to all the agents you've recommended so hopefully they'll come back with a few to look at. Neil & Lisa

Just purchased a holiday home through www.casasmanuel.com , we found them excellent. We used a well recommended solicitor and I must say she was excellent. The only problems we had were with La Caixa bank who were recommended by Currencies Direct. We were promissed reduced bankers drafts charges as part of the introduction, but this failed on the day of completion. Its been 8 weeks now and we are getting fobbed off by both the bank and Currencies Direct. Otherwise everything went well.

We purchased a back repo from Deutsche bank with the help from Keith from Spanish property bureau.
Still untouched with him as he helped so much.
