Holiday home to Residents

Postby Les scott » Thu Feb 27, 2020 4:02 pm

Hi all we have had our holiday home in the area for the last 3 years,my husband and myself have now taken early retirement and have now made the move to Spain more permanent. We are looking to join a few clubs and meeting new friends,We are a couple in our early 50’s and is interested in a few activities but don’t know where to start, I have looked at the forum and the things we are interested in doing are all old post.We are interested in playing petanca, any easy walking or cycling groups.
TIA for your replies

Hi
The one up near the windmill is called Thader and we are members there
Good crowd and mix of people. We only started last year and my husband is going to be captain in one of the teams for a summer league.
They also play for social if you don’t want to be in competition
Pop along on a Sunday morning about 11.00

My husband and I are the same age and we go walking on a Sunday with the Southern Costa Blanca Walking Group. There are 2 walks every Sunday with Trevor taking the more advanced group and Steve taking the easier walk. Great group of people and we see parts of the area that we wouldn't have known about. You can search for the group on facebook. Let me know if you want the email address of the guy that runs it.
