I have bought a house in Dona Pepa

hi I have bought a house in Dona Pepa, primarily for holiday, but when I retire longer periods. I'm looking for routs to bike in the area and training center or fitness center. Also, to go to Torrevieja is there a bus coach or is taxi the only solutions if we like to take a beer or several? I will spend x-mas and new year in Dona Pepa this year, anybody have any idea of things happening that could be of an interest.
