Moving to Quesada

Not sure yet when we will be back out. I still work although my husband Alex is retired. I retire at end of March next year so hopefully will be out for good by May/ June next year although hope maybe to spend a week some time before Xmas. If our dates coincide I will definitely get in touch to meet up, if not this year then certainly next year. Even if our house isn't ready we will rent until it is. Like you don't want to wish my life away but it isn't coming quick enough for us. So please keep in touch. Look forward to meeting you and Yvonne. Nice to get to meet people soon after arriving. Makes you feel more at ease I think.

Atalaya is a great place fairly quiet but not far from anywhare distances vary slightly as to which bit you live but as a guide 10 min stroll to Quesada center 10 min stroll to Mercadona 15 min walk to Benimar commercial/Benijofar, 20 min walk to Rojales, the only pain is you have to drive down to Benimar or past the waterpark to drive into Quesada but I believe they are looking at plans to open the road through which would make it better.

We moved to Atalaya Park over 3 years ago after living in a rural area in Catral ( and to a smaller villa)
Love it so convenient for shopping and we can easily walk into Quesada for restaurants / bars etc....but peaceful and quiet area.
Only 10mins to beaches etc.

This is all very encouraging , I was a little worried , thinking Atalaya was a bit to remote but it sounds like you who are already there are very happy. One more thing ....... When I visited last week the water park had music blaring really loud as I was walking around the new plots opposite the "park" railed off area , is that the norm or was it just a bad day for wind direction etc ??

Lorna , I'm not sure exactly what to do yet , buy new or a re sale , still looking . I've only just put my house for sale in lo marabu , that will probably take a while to sell and I don't want to end up with 2 holiday homes.Good luck with your choice , let me know how it's going as ive had mixed reports. A lovely guy from quesada showed us around, I was impressed with him.
I also love being in lo marabu so I'm taking my time for now x
