Moving to Quesada

cannot wait! Kids are in their 20's now so more likely to want to come on their own!
We look at the webcam on guardamar seafront every day and look on this site to keep us going until may. We are planning on changing the kitchen in may, which will make it feel even more like ours.
when are you back over?

Sadly I'm not back until June; counting down the days! My youngest is just coming up to 15 and has so much going on we have to stay in the UK more than we'd like this year. At least we can spend a good portion of the summer holidays in Quesada

I've looked at the webcam too but torture myself with what I'm missing out on with the weather app on my phone.

July for us now. I have just spent one week on my own over there.
Our daughter gets married in Florida shortly, so have had to use a big portion if holidays for that.
I am lucky I have friends who live permantly round the corner but it was a big adventure for me travelfing and staying on my own.
I wish all the time we were there!

How exciting, and dare I say, brave to be holidaying on your own. It must be easier when you have friends nearby and yes, a big adventure My partner has suggested several times that I might like to do that but taking that first step is definitely a biggie for me. Go for it English rose! I didn't regret it, I even met up with someone from the forum.
She had completed on a house in November when we did, and pm,d me.
From that day we kept in touch, she was over when I was, so we met up and showed each other our casas and had coffee, she and her family are lovely, and so through the forum I have made new friends. Everyone on the forum encouraged me to do it. So here's to the future, when my husband can't make it over, I will!

Thanks blackvelvet; your positive experience and the encouragement you've had from this forum is making me believe that, yes, I 'can do it', rather than 'maybe I can'! We have met some lovely people in our road and made good friends; in touch with some even when back in the UK Have a magical time in Florida for your daughter's wedding.
