Good evening Everybody

I am a new member of the forum and would like to ask for some help/information. In late September my wife, our small dog and I will be driving from Liverpool, through France and on into Spain to have a 6 week stay at our apartment in Buena Vista Golf.
We did this last year and loved it, but there was no requirement for testing at the time. I am wondering whether to wait a little longer to see if any more restrictions are lifted (or imposed). Does anybody have any information to offer?
Any opinions will be welcome
Thank you

Regulations are due to change again on 6th September
Announcement next Wed/Thurs re U.K. travel travel lists.
But you will also have to check out the regulations at the time for travel through France to Spain and different tests may be in force.

Best to keep up to date here

If you’ve not travelled with an animal you need to be aware of changes made since Brexit

Hi just some info that may help you, since Brexit a Uk pet passport is no longer valid for Europe ( you may already know this) info from Brits in Spain:
Those of you with pets are probably aware that travelling with your cat or dog may have changed from 1 January, depending on where your pet’s passport was issued and where you are travelling to. If you have a pet passport issued by Spain or another EU member state, you can use it to travel with your pet to Great Britain and elsewhere in the EU.

However, a GB-issued EU pet passport is not valid for travel to the EU or Northern Ireland. You should speak to your vet before you travel to get the necessary pet travel documents and ensure you’re compliant with the EU Pet Travel Regulations (https://ec.europa.eu/food/animals/movement-pets_en).

You can find more information about taking your pet from Spain to Great Britain, travelling with your pet in the EU and travelling with your pet to Northern Ireland at https://www.gov.uk/guidance/living-in-spain#pets.
