Small puppy abandoned in Jacarilla, Bigastro area

Postby frederick » Thu May 14, 2015 2:26 pm

Free- no money involved.
We are renting a house in the jacarilla, Bigastro area with our 2 small dogs and are due to return to UK soon. Two days ago someone drew up in a car and dumped a small dog in our garden then drove off. We now have a big problem, we cannot keep the dog but to put it outside the gates would mean a death sentence for this puppy, it is 41c today..
We need to find a new owner for this little girl. Is there anyone out there who would love her, she is very affectionate about 4-5 months old ,well behaved, loving and has got on well with our dogs we believe she is a Pappiilon cross or similar, height about 11 inches, weight 3-4 kilos. If you think that you could give this dog a home please pm us,this is URGENT as time is running out.

As someone dumped her out of a car I think we already know the answer, Dot.

Oh I don't know, it seems quite a good idea to me to get her checked for a chip. Sometimes things are not what they seem. What if someone found her but didn't have time to help find her owner, so popped her into this garden for her safety, knowing the owners of the house had small dogs and would be caring ...just a thought???

Any vet will check for a chip.

Frederick, has the situation changed at all?
Have you put this on any of the pet rescue/ rehoming sites on Facebook?

Hi Frederick,
We help out at the SATS dog rescue centre together with many other people, and they are a super rescue centre who would look after the dog, and try to find the original owner if chipped, but failing that find a new home for it, after vetting the new owners out thoroughly.
SATS is in Delores, and are open 7 days a week.
We are in the UK at the moment so sadly cannot come and help you out personally for a while.
Please let us know if you have not resolved this soon. And be assured there is a solution for you.

Get in contact with Irene Allan at Last Hope Dog Rescue...they have a Facebook page too. Irene will certainly do what she can.
