Hi all, hope everyone is well. Recently bought an apartment in Dona Pepa and was recommended this site from a friend. Must say its a good site with lots of info.
Getting to know my way around the area slowly. Just wondering if there is any tennis clubs going on as not much hope of finding any cricket action in Spain.
(no ashes jokes please, he he).
I work as a Dj in the UK and when needing a break from all that madness Spain and the sunshine is a well needed spot to get away. I don't miss the flight time to Australia
Anyway look forward to reading some interesting posts.
Many Thanks
Steeve

Hi Ozzysteve
Welcome... I am only moving to Quesada next month, but I'm sure sooner or later we will all run into each other at some or other happening.
I guess having the odd Oz would be ok... although I would really like a few more South Africans, lol.... but at least our teams know how to play Rugby and make it to the semi finals, something the poor Brits seem to have forgotten how to do!

And the adventure continues...

There's a tennis club at San Luis (just down the road on the way to Torrevieja). It's at a country club type place called Casa Ventura.
Turn left to San Luis at the roundabout by the Mercadona supermarket, then left after passing the commercial centre. Casa Ventura is about 300 metres up on the right hand side (got a big, curved sign over it).
They also have a swimming pool and do meals and drinks there.
There are also tennis courts opposite the Patagonia steak house in Quesada but I'm not sure if these are municipal ones or belong to a community.
