Hahaha, the scooter was hosed down with water because it was dusty, it was still wet when photographs were taken. Sam

hope the electrics are still okay one thing you never do with mobility scooters is hose them down

Thanks for your info, the scooter is in perfect working order after being hosed down. Thinking again about your comment, what would happen if you were caught in the rain. Surely the electric components are securely covered when it does rain. Thanks Sam

Depends on how much rain. They are known to just stop. Same can happen when driving over long wet grass. If it starts raining while I am out, I always cover the top of the tiller with a carrier bag. Better safe than sorry. Fred is right, you should never hose them down.

Thanks Accountant When I was a Mobility Dealer I always supplied a rainproof Kagoul which covered the driver and the full scooter as part of the package and I never had many call out to water damaged scooters the ones I did attend were mainly due to being hosed down
