Scooter wanted

Hi All. I’m looking to buy a scooter, must be good nick, nothing Chinese or Korean. 200 cc or bigger?

So you will still be walking then as most [ even Japanese brands ] are nearly all produced in China ..mind you there are a few Indian ones around .

From that reply I take it you are the proud owner of a Chinese bag of spanners . Anyone I’ve ever spoken to be they dealers or bikers are telling me to avoid them like the plague! But thanks anyway.

I was more wondering if anyone was selling a scooter on here?

Lots of the European? Scooters are made in Vietnam and other Asian countries,,,some good some bad,, also BMW cars lots of parts made in Asia now

Most original lamys are owned by enthusiests and are highly prized as well as expensive , basket cases and projects along with vespas are routinely exported to the uk for very high prices [ check out ebay , a few Spanish built projects ones there but pricey ] , if your are feeling flush order a new one from the Lambretta Consortium .

Thanks for all your comments good bad or otherwise. I simply wondered if anyone had a scooter they no longer required that I could look at and possibly buy. Obviously not, so I will go along to the main dealers and check them out.

200cc is a bit of an oddball size for a scooter.
