Many thanks for your kind offer. Unfortunately it's more than a one off job and mine has just failed (bearing break up) so I'm looking for a replacement. Thanks again

Bearings are available in the chinese shops .

Thanks for the info, I've never noticed them in there.
First of all I'll have to figure out a way to get the old inner race off the motor shaft which is an interference fit and doesn't want to budge using a screwdriver as a lever or using a pair of grips. It has a plastic collar behind the bearing so using heat is a no go and I don't have a vice!
