Brittany ferry Club voyage number

Postby Ca5bwi » Fri Apr 07, 2023 5:31 pm

Hi everyone

We have booked a break in June and are now looking at arranging travel. Does anyone have a Brittany Ferries Club Voyage Membership Number that they would be happy to share for use to use for this trip please?

Any help would be really appreciated.

Thanks in advance

I just do not understand when people ask for someones ferry numbet. We have been members for many years and its not that exoensive to join if you use it at least once a year. My husband has had major surgery and we dont know yet how our sumner wull span out, but we still paid our annual membership in the hope we can use it. I probably sound very mean but I just think why should I give this benifit to a stranger, why dont people join thensekves instead of sponging on someobe else after all they will be getting free breakfast, cheaper meals on the back of someone else. Just a personal opinion. I couldnt ask a member. Seems an imposition but thats just me!

Don't you also gain? It's called 'Helping people out" it doesn't cost you anything. It's nice to help people, what we should all do.

Thank you for your views. In these times of economic hardship it would be nice if someone had a kind heart and would allow me to use their number.

Unfortunately we would only use Brittany ferries once a year (we are not fortunate enough to be able to afford any more trips abroad than one a year). I also know we are fortunate to even be able to afford one.

In our case the membership fee outweighs any benefit we would have. This is why we haven’t.

I’m hoping not everyone on here has such a negative view.

Thanks in advance.

And a very happy Easter to you Babsie! Allowing someone to use your Club Voyage number costs you nothing, in fact, you gain a tenner each time it’s used. And ‘guests’ do not benefit from free breakfast or meal discounts, it’s simply a 10% discount off the journey cost. And as Chrisdee says, it’s nice to help someone out

I sound like an ogre but I am not. 8 always give to charity, knitted loads of blankets for dogs home, give to homeless people so I am not unsympathetic. We also can only afford to go once a year I am simply
stating that we pay for the membership which doesnt grow on trees, just in case my hubby is well enough to go, as we dont like to ask for anything. We have never bern given anything not even an inheritance so are not used to taking, but good luck to those that feel they can and to tjose that dont mind giving their number. Hapoy Easter to all and I will be donating to my charities as usual.

You don’t sound like an ogre Babsie but perhaps you’re not fully aware of how the Club Voyage membership works. By sharing your number you could be up to £100 better off each year! Each ‘guest’ using your number gets you a tenner which you can use towards your next year’s membership or even give to one of your favourite charities. I can’t see why you wouldn’t share as everyone wins!
