Qr test

Looking for recommendations, my wife and I have both had our vaccinations in the Uk, prior to coming to Spain in June, I now understand that we may have to show proof of a COVID test or QR test to a restaurant for our Christmas meal, could anyone tell me how to get this and if there is any cost involved or can you get it from a local health centre? We are both covered by private health insurance at the moment, thank you.

Do you have your NHS Covid Certificate, if so this is sufficient with a photo ID.

Your NHS Covid certificate QR code will need to be updated as prior to 1st November the Spanish app cannot read the NHS QR codes.
If you know your NHS number and have the NHS app you can download a later version which will be valid for 30 days and will cover you over Christmas.

When you down load your QR code make sure you pick the TRAVEL option.

We are the same, resident in Spain, but had both our vaccinations in the UK as we were visiting for an extended stay in the summer. Download the NHS App and sign up or log in. Your QR Code and PDF certificate will be on there. No cost.

Hi Julie, just being nosey as I am resident in Spain, so was vaccinated here. So not being up to speed with the NHS app, I’m intrigued what the other choices you have for downloading the QR code. What are the other choices other than travel.

Hi The other option is DOMESTIC which is fine when you are in the UK.
TRAVEL is the QR code recognised in
Spain and other Counties.
