Pro keyboard player here too.....sadly it’s very much karaoke around Quesada and surrounding areas..I’ve had to travel to Benidorm to get decent work....good luck.

Sorry Noel
I did not read your message properly
There does seam to be a lot of karaoke here
And the police don’t help

Do you use an agent ?
Or do you get your own work

Thanks roger

Hi Roger

I’m primarily a jazz pianist now although I play all styles, I joined a few local
bands few years ago but there’s not a lot of well paid work for larger bands...luckily I met some
Spanish jazz musicians so most of my work is Alicante/ Benidorm way...the Benidorm
music scene is where it’s at....

There are a lot of entertainers around here doing the backing track thing so it’s quite saturated with established singers who get booked in advanced....

All I can suggest is just go round to a few bars and ask for a one off free trial or provide a website with some samples..

Let of know where you get a gig I’ll come along...

Brgds
