Hi from a Newbie - and info on fibre broadband

Postby foxystoat » Tue Aug 30, 2016 11:01 am

Hi there.

We have a place in la Herrada that we like to visit as often as we can. I've been a regular on the Torrevieja forum but only just come across this one, so belated "hi" from me :D

We have wireless broadband from Teleast at the moment. Not the quickest (3mb) and limited English TV for €31 euro with a switchoff service too

We've been assured that fibre is coming to La Herrada before year end at similar prices and enhanced TV channels too. Get more info from the Teleast shop on the main road in Los Montesinos.

Hope this of help to you

Finally - we're having this installed today.

24 euros for (up to 100mb) speed and UK channels.

24 month contract and free TV for 12 months included in the price.

Also installing on Lo Crispin according to the leaflet I have too.

Sorry, can't say for sure. Best to contact TVHoradada/Teleast in Los Montesinos office to confirm.

I tried TVHoradada/teleast in Los Montesinos, who I've been for a number of years.

Can anyone recommend a good internet supplier for Lo Crispin please?
Telecable apparently can install there I believe 8Mbs for 24euros a month or 4Mbs for 18euros a month. It sounds a bit slow and I wonder if it is pretty stable. Are there better deals for Lo Crispin and I guess maybe fast fibre internet didn't reach there.

Hi Gucci, apologies as I thought I had thanked you already, oops. But many thanks for your internet info and yes had Vega fibre installed and it's good.

Hi Emwood also apologies to you to for not replying sooner, as above. I regularly get 50mbs although they advertise up to 100mbs but not aware of the minimum of 75mbs. Maybe my €24.90 does not cover that, but really satisfied as I was not expecting that good a speed in this area.
