Community Pool Key Lo Marabu

Community Pool Key Lo Marabu

Postby Nicky » Fri Apr 24, 2015 9:58 pm

I contacted Servigest to ask when the community pool keys are going to changed over. They advised me that they will not be changed this year and to keep using the current pool key.
Could anyone confirm if they are still able to access the community pool with their current key?
Thx
Nicky

Hi Nicky,
Sorry just seen your post - Welcome to the forum.

The key we have now should be fine but hopefully someone has been in one of the pools recently and can tell us if their key was OK.

Jan.

The minutes of the latest residents meeting apparently agreed to retain the "old" key if you log onto Servigest 24hr office that should help.

I didn't get the last new key as I couldn't find the office in Torrevieja so I emailed them and they were really helpful. They said that I could pick up the pool key from the president but my question is 'Why can't we all do that anyway?' It's ridiculous to expect people to go to the office to pick it up.

My friend in the president of their urb in Algora with 175 properties and she hands them all out with no problem.

For those who don't yet know the pool area near the Consum end of London Marabu is being resurfaced with new tiles at this time.

I only found out when I went to use it last week. It is now being grouted so I guess it may be ready for the school holidays. There was mention of this being done in the meeting minutes in April but no time scale was given so it was a surprise. The pool at the other end of the urbanisation is still usable luckily.

We've never lived on a community so not really sure how it all works. We re moving to a property in Ave Gijon. I know there is a pool in the same "block" as the house would that be the pool we would use? Which makes sense Or can we use any of the pools as I know there is one nearer Consum? I assume the president would contact us as I haven't got a clue who that would be and After reading about pool keys am slightly confused as to where I would get them again I thought they would be with the house keys??

What should be or should happen often doesn't I'm afraid. Yes the previous owners should pass on the pool key but if they haven't you can get one (as long as the community charge is paid up to date) from the Servigest office in Torrevieja. I will send you the email address if you want it, to ask what you need to do to get one.

You could also ask how to contact the president, although we have been there 11 years and still don't have contact details and she does not give out any information or tell us the rules. The only things we hear about are from community meeting minutes which are on the Servigest Lo Marabu owners private online access. Saying that, it is a well run community (after a few initial issues were ironed out in the early days) and the pools are well maintained and you can use either of the two large pools.
If you need anything else (unless it's private info) just ask on the forum.

Hi
Servigest are the administration company for Lo Marabu community. They deal with the community charge and all expenses and more.

Here's the website link below. They have a contact email on there too and when your property is signed over to you, if it isn't already, you can contact them with your details to get access to the online office and/or find out anything else you need to know.

You don't need to go to meetings but it's good to go if you are able to, to see what happens but you will get the minutes to the meetings in your online office on the website. You can also set up your direct debit to pay the community charge on there when you move in. I think the charge was 152 euros for the year last year -We have one of the cheapest charges due to being a large community.
