I too have had David Beck sort out a couple of problems and I echo the praise given him.

Well what a fabulous experience we've had for a second time with David from Lock & Key Spain; very impressive.
After some concerns a few weeks ago with the number of key holders to our property and some difficulty in opening a couple of locks, we rang David following an advert in a local trades people magazine (forgive me, I can't remember the name). We were impressed straight away when he literally came round within an hour or so and took some time to listen to our concerns and came up with some far better suggestions for replacement than we'd had. I must just add that our own suggestions would have been much more expensive but no matter how he pretends to be 'one of the boys' this guy is a really sincere, trustworthy guy who, from what we've seen (twice now), does not agree with what has become regular examples of over-charging people in need or the current upward trend of 'Brits' overcharging 'Brits'!!
He completed the first job within a couple of hours or less, we were pleased to see that he cleaned up after himself (I always think that's a good sign of a professional) and made sure we were happy with the workings of the replacements offering a 'test drive' through the locks firstly to make sure we were happy with the work but also to make sure we were using the locks in the right way (trust me, that's needed in our house)! All was good and we were very happy if not surprised actually at the pricing; very fair indeed.
We woke today to find that we were unable to even get the key into the lock on the outer shutter gate, after much ado, we gave in and rang David fully expecting him to come on Monday (today is Saturday and we didn't ring him until well after lunch). I text him all the details again and he text back asking if he could come straight away as that worked better for his workload. "Yes please" I said and within an hour he had arrived and started sorting out our problem.
I think it was probably harder than we'd expected, he certainly worked hard to gain access I can tell you but within an hour, he was through and replaced the barrel and mended the mechanism for the shutter.
David is great at what he does, he's a breath of fresh air when it comes to his 'can do' attitude we can't thank him enough for making our holiday home safe again. We would not hesitate to recommend him for your lock & key needs which we have no doubt he'll satisfy and always with a smile!

I thoroughly recommend David Beck for any lock or security issue and have used him several times, for a complete house lock change and to fit a two-way garage lock to allow use from inside or out.
All expertly and efficiently carried out.
The other thing we liked, was that he is able to assess how best to reduce the guddle of keys many of us have for outside/inside doors - I think we went down from about six or seven to three - much easier on the pocket !

Our lock snapped and we called out David Beck from Lock & Key Spain. He arrived within hours the same day and fixed a new lock for us. He was professional, informative and easy to talk to. Highly recommended! We got his details through Talk Quesada - good job!

Dave came to my neighbours and I greeted him. He arrived when he stated he would and took minutes to gain entry back into the house.
A professional guy who was polite and helpful in his advice. I kept his number should I need to use him (without hesitation).
Always difficult to find a professional and legally registered tradesman. He is all of that.

Contacted David via details on Talk Quesada. Arranged in advance to call him once we had keys to out property. He was there within the hour and gave great advice. He sold and fitted only the locks we really needed but said our patio door bolts were what he would recommend anyway so no need to change. He also has a keen sense of humour and kept us well entertained for an hour or so. Be prepared to be ribbed gently. He even took some photos for us on our new balcony so we could email them to friends. A top bloke who we have no hesitation in thoroughly recommending for lock changes, security advice and helpful household tips. Great character.

Brilliant guy Dave recommended whole heartily.
Certainly does not rip you off.
Actually does what he says he is going to do breath of fresh air for humanity.
