Found - 2 pairs of skis

Postby Bobbiet » Sat Dec 27, 2014 7:56 am

Found 2 pairs of very narrow ski's, hidden in the shrubs in the campo. Looks like they were stolen and "stashed" until dark. Have reported this to the Rojales Police station and they are now in safe keeping.

Interesting! - When we first moved into our house years ago the development was new and, as is the case for most new-builds, it was 'under the radar' for burglars for a while.
Luckily most people were aware of this and were being extra vigilant and security conscious but one day one of our neighbours noticed a couple of guys, in some fields nearby, putting a large, blanket covered, item in some bushes.
He went over and under the blanket was a large flat screen tv. He took the TV, so they couldn't come back for it and after a bit of detective work with some other neighbours, they found the house with the broken into door. The police were called and eventually they found that the TV was the only thing taken.
Not sure if the thieves were caught but I would like to think that after dark the police had a stake-out and caught them coming back for it....probably only happens in films though!
