Market Buses

Hi there
Can anyone tell me if we can get a bus at Quesada arches to take us to any of the markets or even guadamar

Hi Trudy,
There is a free bus service to Rojales market all year round when Rojales Mercadona is open. The approximate times it leaves are 9.00 9.30 10.30hrs.(see the bus stops on the timetable below)
Comes back at 12.00 & 13.00 hrs. From the Mercadona in Rojales and one other pick-up called Capital Theatre.


I don't know any other market buses but there is a bus to Torrevieja that goes from the arches. Here's the timetable (although it is from 2012 the times haven't changed for a few years and will give you an idea) but you can get a latest copy from the town hall in Quesada or Rojales;

There is also a Guardamar bus going to the bus station in Guardamar from Quesada but the times are quite odd. The bus stop is near the Ayuntamiento building, opposite the Deutche Bank.
Last year, July 2013, the times were, from Quesada at 13.00,14.05,17.15 & 20.50 but coming back to Quesada from Guardamar bus station there is only one bus which is at 19.15. which is strange.
We are hoping that the times will be better this year and when we get an updated timetable I will put a copy on the forum.
