Any eBayers out there - looking for help/advice re: post etc

Any eBayers out there - looking for help/advice re: post etc

Postby buttons » Tue Mar 12, 2019 11:39 am

Hi, I have an eBay account (UK) and in the past I have bought and sold using that account (sold, when I was based in the UK). I've got a new business strand selling low value items and would like to market them on eBay (ES - same account works on both sites).

What I'm looking for advice on, if anyone has experience is mailing things to the UK for example. The prices I've found from Correos for small items seem over the top.
One of the items, is in a box 15cm x 9.5 cm x 11cm and weighs less than 500g

I'm also looking for postal prices to Spain, though I suspect Correos will probably perform better on this score.

Thankyou in advance for your help and support.

Perhaps you could go and chat with the card shop in benimar , they are agents for easypost and may well give you preferential rates if you will be sending lots of stuff

Or pop in to the easypost office just behind the sats shop in montesinos

Thanks for your suggestion frenchie. I've already e-mailed easypost but as yet no reply. I think the postroom benijófar also use easypost and the prices they gave me cost more than the cost of the item. I'll have to see.
I've also been in touch with packlink.es (they have a packlink pro service) and I'm waiting for a reply back from them regarding rates. If they're any good, I'll share back here for anyone else whom might be interested.

Ebay made a contract with Correos and Seur to send packages from Spain to Spain only with better prices:

Check on www.genei.es for international comparative.

The English shop in Catral have a mail and parcel service to/from UK.

Never used it personally but I would imagine that they carry packages to/from UK on customers behalf when they go there to collect the goods for their shop.
