The current government has said that it's going to break international law. The EU threaten sanctions and legal action. Even, Michael Howard, a Tory leader that was probably more right wing than Margaret Thatcher, has gone mad about it. I knew it was going to be bad, but I didn't think it was going to be as bad as this. No wonder the pound is in free fall.

Might be a good thing as the pandemic seem to not exist in Spain from the UK tourists point of view, roll on January.

This is a subject that will be as hotly debated as Brexit itself.......I can hear the groans from here.
Countries routinely break international law.
* Most NATO member states by not meeting their required committments. Especially Spain with its claim on Gibralter.
* China.....not informing WHO about cv19 & their handling of Hong Kong.
* EU.....by demanding control over UK Sovereignty
Ok, two wrongs don't make a right but let's beat everyone with the same size stick.

They probably do, but the last time Britain "openly" felt it could break international law, according to the press, seems to have been the Suez crisis. I'm pretty certain your examples of the EU and NATO commitments don't breach international law and, if you want to lump the UK in with China, fair enough. We can throw Russia, The Philippines, Brazil and quite a few others in as well.
The fact that Howard, probably the most right wing home secretary we've had in the last 40 years, and a confirmed Brexiteer, thinks it's a disgrace, says everything.

Perhaps he's had a few bad experiences with British tourists.
