Astra Zeneca jab second dose

Has anyone had a message to say that they would not be getting a second jab AT ALL, as one dose is enough?

No, AZ needs two jabs for it to be effective, when did that change and why are the U.K. advising that a booster jab may be needed in the Autumn. The last research I read announced that that the two jab AZ was less effective against the Delta variant than the two jab Pfizer.
Where did you get your information from?
I had heard rumours that 2nd jab texts were being sent out this weekend, so perhaps those of us with cancelled appointments, will get our jabs on time.

A good number of us were supposed to be getting our 2nd jabs next week, before they were cancelled.

I haven’t a new appointment yet for next week keep checking the GVA app and my phone. They need to sort something out pronto for us all. Somebody on facebook said they had been told they only need one dose but they have had covid so who knows.

Bee previously said we may hear Fri/Sat be patient.

I received a text yesterday saying I am only getting the AZ one that I received in April. I had Covid March 2020.
