I flew Ryanair Birmingham and back. The staff enforced the wearing of masks for the duration of the flight

My son flew Ryanair from Gatwick last week and a woman refused point blank to put a mask on so she was escorted off the flight. Delaying everybody in the process. It's Ryanair policy that masks are mandatory so it was the crew member at fault.

We flew to Alicante & back with Ryanair this week. Everyone wearing face masks. I can’t complain about Ryanair. Everything was brilliant -)

This is one of the reasons in all the years of being a member of this forum i rarely post anything as you get someone like you that makes a comment that has nothing to do with the post. I have sent a complaint to ryanair but as yet i have not heard back and dont expect too. Just to add i have now had an email from the NHS telling me i have been near someone who has tested positive with covid obviously on that flight as one of the non mask wearing passengers was coughing most of the flight. Its possible he is now in benidorm spreading his germs as when i told him he will have to wear a mask in spain he said let them try and make me wear one as i will tell them to f off like he told me.

did you have a test to come to spain or did you only do the 2 day test once you arrived in the uk?

If you are sat next to someone with covid you will catch it no matter if you are wearing a mask or not.
The microscopic size of the virus will pass straight through, around, under and over the mask.
Also with the recirculation of air around the cabin i am surprised you are flying at all.
Very irresponsible to be travelling about spreading the virus. ;)

That’s not how it works.
The virus may be microscopic, but it needs to travel attached to saliva aerosol when you cough, sneeze, sing, shout or even breath.
The masks can catch the saliva aerosol, reducing spread.

have you had covid?

While i was there i tested every day as i was visiting my 96 year old mother who was in a residential home. My sister who i stayed with registered me with the NHS app i had to do an antigen test each day, scan it to an account set up for me, the NHS then sent confirmation of the negative for me to be allowed to visit my mother. Plus i did my 2 day PCR test.

Why did you not report this to Ryanair so that they can deal with this crew as it is compulsory to wear a mask on their flights, a company rule, we fly from Bristol to Alicante with them and all on flights wear masks.

I sent a complaint on there official website as soon as I arrived home as yet they have not replied. It was the same in Luton airport I lost count the amount of people not wearing masks yet signs everywhere telling you to have a mask on at all times.
