Bank appointment.

Hi,
I lost my mobile phone and I have to come all the way to Spain to give my new mobile phone number to my bank in person. My lawyer, who has power on attorney, went to my bank, on my behalf, to present my new mobile number to them but they refused to accept it and insisted I give them the new mobile number in person. Meanwhile, can anyone tell me how long it takes to get an appointment with a bank in Spain please?

Probably depends on the bank. We made an appointment with Bankia and they slotted us in the next day.
Things like changing phone numbers and update passport details don't (didn't?) generally need an appointment but, in these days, who knows? Pre pandemic I changed my phone number and it was just a matter of walking in, taking a number and the cashier did it there and then.

What bank is that? That's absolutely ridiculous

I've just been to the bank. One of the options at the ATM was to change my mobile phone number so could have done it easily on there.

How did you manage to get an appointment Marcliff? I've been trying and had no response from them.

Think he used the ATM and changing your telephone no. was an option at the ATM ?
