Bins

Can anyone tell me why the bins have been removed from behind the restaurants on the car parking area onto Calle Las Mimosas road near the junction of the Italian restaurant as people are cutting the corner an accident waiting to happen.

What area are you referring to.?

Top end (opposite end to the arches) near the Italian and De Silvas restaurants.

I sent an e-mail to Jose Ramon yesterday asking the same question. Stating that they are causing traffic congestion at the junction between Av. Naciones and Calle Las Mimosas. It is a mystery why they would move them from an area which was out of the way and put them on the road. The more people that complain about this the better so send in your e-mails.
PS. I should point out that these are recycling bins and not the ordinary refuse bins.
Two of them are positioned on the pedestrian crossing.

I agree. Do you have José Ramon’s email address please JohnES and would be also be able to help with the overflowing bins throughout Quesada which are not emptied till late afternoon from the day before and are becoming a health hazard

I f people stop and think for a moment the reason your bins are overflowing is like any other towns the increase in the number of people using them, the lorries that empty the bins get full up quicker which means they then have to go and empty them maybe once or twice more than normal in the night hence your bins are not getting emptied until at least mid day and i expect the townhall are catering for a lot more people than are registered in Rojales.

Personally ive bin nowhere. The old ones are the best.

William I appreciate that in the summer months more people use the bins but this is the first year all the bins are overflowing so that even their lids cannot be closed. Up till now although the collection times had changed from late at night (when there was a law not to put rubbish in them till after 8pm at night to avoid the health hazards) rubbish was still collected in the morning. Sometimes it's not colkrcurdctill 6 or 7pm now

in Formentura , bins emptied in the night, no rubbish to be put in bins BEFORE 8pm and after midnight ,theres signs up with a picture of a clock explaining this,why are people so selfish/ignorant then moan ,,abide bye the rules...…….. .in any area,IF property owners signed on the padron the council gets more funds from central government for services,
