I traded in my old Reliant Supervan 3 for one of these in 1972/73. Great fun, went all over the country in it, camping etc. It was cheap 'tricycle' insurance to begin with, then, after some time, the insurance premiums went up to 'sports car' rating :o

Let's be correct, it is a Bond Bug, not a buggy. Drive one at your peril, extremely unstable as all 3 wheelers were in those days. I remember tipping over on to the side in a Messerschmitt 3 wheeler which was far more stable than a Bug as it had 2 wheels in front.

Oh yes, I worked for Rothmans cigarettes Co in the1970s all the girlreps were given one of these to tour the seaside resorts in, we certainly put some mileage on the clocks and had lots of fun with them . Happy days.
