Well, that little bit of history is wholly inaccurate. Butter and indeed tins of stewed steak was handed out to pensioners and many on benefits at community centres.
Another example of pro Brexit nonsense?

In general there seems to be animosity towards France and Germany.
Germany was a wreck after the war.. look at Germany now.. The UK won.. and look at the UK---
What have the UK been doing??... Britain should be running Europe, but they are now outside looking in...
I am beginning to think there is a certain amount of jealousy just because France and Germany have done so well and Britain dropped the ball somewhere...

Juncker’s just doing his job and I’m sure that many in Europe have feelings, similar to Belcat’s, for Farage and Johnson too.

Well said donoduo I have spoken to many people who voted to leave, who now say they didn't realise how complicated and what we could lose by leaving they just saw the clown borris next to the fantasy bus.

Absolutely, Scipio.
Can you imagine - if the vote had gone the other way - that the "Leavers" would be acting in the same way and that there'd be the same amount of 'whinging' that the "Remainers" seem to do?!!!
In some ways, I'm embarrassed to have voted Remain when I see the attitudes of others.
It was a democratoc vote, and I for one am happy to live in a democracy, where everyone is free to have their own vote and to do their own independent research without listening to the nonsense spoken by politicians.
It's just a shame that some others just can't accept democracy.

Well said Najizan.
It's an even bigger shame that half of those who cant accept democracy are democratically-elected politicians. It totally undermines Britain's negotiating hands at the Brexit talks.

Totally. May I remind you of a certain Mr Nigel Farage?
There could be unstoppable demand for a re-run of the EU referendum if Remain wins by a narrow margin on 23 June, UKIP leader Nigel Farage has said.
The former/current/interim Ukip leader said in May that a narrow 52-48% win for Remain side would be “unfinished business” and would prompt him to fight for a second referendum.
Farage told the Mirror: “In a 52-48 referendum this would be unfinished business by a long way. If the remain campaign win two-thirds to one-third that ends it.”
So, if it had gone the other way, who reckons the leave voters wouldn't be doing exactly the same?

.
Are you saying that whenever there is a democratic vote those with opposing views should just keep quiet and accept the vote?
If so, after the next general election the losing party, and all the land, should just shut up and follow blindly the Government without asking questions..??
Funny democracy that..
