Brexit - it’s all about the money

Democracy - dictionary definition: 'a system of government by the whole population or all the eligible members of a state, typically through elected representatives.'
Unfortunately on that basis the referendum was NOT democratic as the whole population were not able to vote - i.e. long term residents from EU in UK & UK citizens living in EU for more than 15 years.
It should have been left to our elected representatives - i.e. parliament - whereas now it seems to be in the hands of a dictatorial government.

"...OR all the ELIGIBLE members..."
The "whole population" would never be able to vote, as those under 18 couldn't. I think they're part of the "population". Not the VOTING population, but your definition doesn't say that.
If you consider the UK Government to be dictatorial, then I'd suggest you look at the likes of North Korea's leadership.
Yet another "let's have a dig at the government" post.
It's very, very boring now.

Shame that the under 18's have to live with the consequences for many years ahead.

Indeed. Just as the under 18s had to live with the consequences when the UK joined in the early 70s...
Anyone on this forum able to actually do anything proactive with regard to these Brexit negotiations?
No?
Then why not sit back, stop worrying, and enjoy what life you have left? Worrying and ranting about it just isn't worth the stress...
