Bumping

Can I just ask what does the word “bumping” mean regarding buying and selling please

It's when somebody does a post then the next day they comment "bump" on it. That then pushes it to the top of the page. You're not allowed to do it anymore. Others call their message up and put still available it's the same thing.

It's a way of putting your advert back to the top of the list has a new, unseen advert. It's usually done if your item doesn't sell because it's too expensive, too niche or just that no one wants it.

The bumping is usually done to advertise a price reduction or change to the advert listing. The more annoying ones do it repeatedly just to keep their advert at the top of the list and knock the newer adverts down the list.
