Caterpillars help!

Help I’m being invaded again by black caterpillars..second year..they last about a week but they are everywhere,climbing up the outside walls and coming in the house by any which way they can! They even are sharing my pillow..,I have dogs so I must be careful not to harm the dogs with insecticides.,.any one know the answer ..before I go mad ?

why bother they will turn into butterflies in a few days

That is what I was told last year..not..anyway they are moths! Would you like to share your bed with them..your kitchen bathroom and living room and garden? If so I'll bring you some.
