Completing the NLV application form

went to Edinburgh consulate yesterday what a shambles got there told to wait outside bloody freezing we got in to find we had to wait in line there was 2 dogs barking 3 babies crying got to the front of a glass partition and had to shout at the top of my voice to be herd expected to be interviewed in a private room passing pieces of paper back and forward shouting at the top of your voice to be herd couldnt here a word the girl was saying see was writing things down on paper because she new i could not here her for the noise from dogs barking babies crying it was shocking to be honest to interview someone in this manner for something as important as NLV visa see then passed me over papers and told me i had to and get them photo stated see refused to do it for me how Brexit just keep killing you after all that i hope it was all worth it in the end

Appointment with the London Consulate is next week. Any tips on what happens there, do they just look through your paperwork or is it more like an interview, questions etc? Are you allowed to take anyone in with you (spouse)?
