directions to Corvera airport

hi had anyone been to new airport Corvera, can you give us directions and any helpful information have to pick up family tomorrow. thanks

It’s a bit like the old San Javier Airport, you can park outside provided it’s not too busy and you don’t stray far from your car. If you get moved-on then just pop into the short-stay car park, but if you track the flight and arrive about 10 minutes after it’s landed then it should be fine.

Drive towards Murcia on the E15/A7, join A30, Cartagena, and stay on it to junction 161.
It's signed up as aeropuerta.

Head south on the AP7 until junction 782. Then head north west on RM19 until you meet the A30 (keep left at this point) then head towards Cartagena. One junction along the A30 turn onto RM16 into the airport. About 50-55 minutes.

Getting back is the problem. Don’t forget if you use the car park you must pay before you get in your car, it was pandemonium when we were there with a poor girl running backwards and forwards paying peoples tickets with all the exits at a standstill.
