Entrance Fee

I recall going to. Turkey many years ago and having to pay £10 per person to get into. Turkey. Does anyone know if that still applies ??

Yes, I remember that from some time ago. It was called a "visa" but was basically a bribe to the border force, very underhand and only cash allowed.

You shouldn't be paying anything now if you really want to visit. See https://www.gov.uk/foreign-travel-advice/turkey/entry-requirements

We've travelled extensively through Turkey over 8 years in the past but you couldn't pay me enough to return.

A friend's been Twice this year already, loves it plus previous years, admittedly it's been a 5 star resort and I think that's all they do, stay in it, I've never fancied it.

Thanks after looking into it we are going to give it a miss and spend more time here in. Spain

There are so many beautiful places to visit in Spain and easy to get to.

Been to Turkey so many times , we had a beautiful large apt out there for 13 yrs and loved it, sadly now we won't return its not the same anymore, if you go on to the Altinkum pages its just all doom n gloom, it used to be a fairly cheap destination now its the most expensive, prices have rocketed with some saying they are paying £8 a beer.
We have friends that live out there but are stuck there as their money has dropped drastically, shame as most of the people and the country itself are beautiful.
The £10 visa is no more
