Sorry the post has disappeared now but it was the other one cerveza had said about the false note
Lance had replied this morning that he got the money out of the bank machine (I think he said Lo Marabu) on his way )

Given that Karen never ‘quoted’ you, I don’t believe her comment was in answer to your question. It was a chance thing it appeared after that question.

My reading of her post is that, she was thinking the person who purchased from the OP, didn’t realise the notes were forgeries.

So he should go back to the bank because it’s a 300% that everyone in and outside got filmed

On my inside camera you can see and read the first 5 symbols and numbers when he handed over the 2 notes so at the bank they have far more better equipment than I have…

I just want to be payed correct by Lance and been able to go back to the Mercadonna without the whole staff pointing at me!!!

How are the staff going to know Lance paid you back? if they point at you now? then they will probably point at you next time as well.

I'm interested to know how the cashier knew it was forged, they don't use note scanners, so is it a poor quality forgery i.e. is there something missing from the notes details, as it stands it is only the cashiers word that it's forged, the most notable way to tell is the raised lines on both edges, except 100 and 200 notes because they don't have the lines.

What a very unfortunate situation. I sincerely hope you both clear your names and get this horrible nightmare sorted out.
