Hi Catwoman im not trying to be a party pooper but im sure if you fish anywhere in Spain you require a licence. having said that theres a huge fishing lake just off the 332 if you go along the Lemon tree rd towards the 332 at the 332 turn right & carry on to the next roundabout if you turn in there theres a car park on the left with the bar & restaurant just on your left & if you carry on past the bar your at the lake im sure your charged €5 to fish but u get vouchers back for coffee beer etc you can not keep your catch as all fish have to be returned after there caught.

Hi, A fishing license is required to fish rivers and lakes here. This can be obtained from most fishing tackle shops locally, google for details of the tackle shops. The cost is very reasonable.
The river Segura that runs through Rojales and Formentera hold carp and the resturant lake just off the N332 dual carriageway between Guardamar and La Mata is a good place for few hours fishing and their charge is very modest. link to the resturant lake is...
