Bandwagon-jumping woke nonsense.
They'll be waiting a while for a ball to be kicked at Nou Camp (Spotify Camp Nou, actually!) though...!

Absolute disgrace!!!
Whole thing just shows how backward Spanish Society is.
Women in Spain need to have more respect and not to have to endure such treatment.

Of course his behaviour was inappropriate. His non apology was outrageous. I doubt he would have done the same to a male player. He should resign or be sacked.

He was clearly wrong. No one should be kissed on the lips without their consent. We can debate the appropriate sanction, but he was definitely wrong. His behaviour since the incident, where he has doubled down and gone on the attack rather than sincerely apologising, has not helped him and I doubt there is now any way back.

I Cant see what all the fuss is about to be honest, all the excitement of winning the World cup, it's a spur of the moment thing isn't it.
Was it a "spur of the moment thing" when Rubiales grabbed his crotch in a macho salute, about 1.5m from Queen Letizia and her daughter? The fact that he didn't even think about the World's media catching it on camera is an indication of the sort of bloke he is - I wonder if he teaches his daughters that they should just accept unwanted advances from men.

Although maybe she was just going along to get along or something. The kiss itself was very brief. Was it bad taste and judgement from the manager? Probably. He's been suspended now so one would think that would be the end of it. Ironic that her surname translates to beautiful isn't it?
Rubbish. You obviously don't have a "beautiful" wife or daughters who have been subjected to this kind of unacceptable behaviour by knuckle-draggers who abuse their positions of seniority.

Completely OTT. mountain out of a molehill. Would there be this hoo haa if it was her that had kissed him? Definitely not. Just sheer excitement At winning the World Cup. Even the Queen of Spain was hugging people, not the sort of thing you’d expect from a monarch but heat of the moment joyous celebrations.

What's rubbish Paulr? I'm not saying what he did was right, only that its been blown up out of proportion for some, as yet, unknown reason. There's more to them making this a global story than a seemingly spare of the moment peck on the lips. But that's just my opinion.
I've been groped, grabbed and kissed, etc by woman, sometimes unwanted. Are they knuckle draggers too? If it was a woman who done it to a man it would be forgotten about in 2 seconds.
Whether he was right or not, someone either wants him out, or is using the story to whip the public into a frenzy in order to push through some sort of pre-conceived change in society. Probably pass a law banning men from approaching woman until they first receive a written consent form.

The dual personality of Spain.
Only Spain could make such madness out of such happiness.
It certainly is 'different' as the old tourist adverts used to proclaim.
I think if you study Spain's History and the split in society at various levels since the civil war, then all of this makes sense.
It is country that is forever looking for fault lines to divide.
