NEUROLOGIST

Please can anyone recommend a good Neurologist.
Been waiting six weeks for an appointment at Torrevieja hospital, and need to see someone NOW
any suggestions greatly appreciated.

Hi try private, Quiron Hospital, it’s the MRI that he will require which could be expensive.
His Consultant fee not too bad, chat to him and see what the score is - at least he will give you a report which you can show your GP - he might then be able to fast track.

Dr Eric Freire at Imed, but he is based at Elche.

If MRI required you can get that done at Imed Torrevieja, but will have to see him at Elche.

Some consultants go to Torrevieja once or twice a month but not him he is always based at Elche.

Torrivieja hospital is terrible . I was told by a consultant i needed a urgent MRI SCAN 6 months ago. I got a call from my translater saying to go to ALICANTE somewhere at 8AM. .I told them to forget it.

Hi I always pop to IMED Elche, local for us.
If you ask the Consultant re cost of MRI if it’s required. you can then decide what to do.
Any medication you have to pay for at chemist but I took my report to local doctor and he adds it to the SIP card.
If you decide to take the IMED route still keep your appt with Torrevieja Consultant and show him your report etc at least then he will see the results.
