No quarantine to fly to the UK

Hi
We are both residents in Spain.

I heard on the radio this morning that we can fly to the UK and not have to quarantine.
Is this the correct information we have both been double jabbed and if so what do we need in regard tests etc.

Appreciate any information and help.

Hi yes you do unfortunately the UK only recognises UK vaccines at this present time it states all here, you have to quarantine, test before you go and test days 2&8 also (which are booked paid for before you leave.

Hi at this moment as I put above you have to do as stated on gov.uk but you are right also it MAY change see photo

Yes it’s all over the press today that the government are allegedly wanting to allow U.K. citizen, jabbed in their home country back into the U.K. without quarantine.

According to the media, you will need to get authority from your GP back in the U.K.???

Has to be pure media speculation I mean how many of us still have a U.K. GP !!!!

Comes from reputable sources of two local free papers - so it must be true lol

I read about someone today having trouble getting a vaccine passport because she had one vaccine in England and the other in Scotland so I'm not holding my breath! Today's announcement has got a lot of hares running, but hopefully they'll get round to it at some point. The UK GP bit was particularly farcical.

I had my first vaccine in Spain, second one in UK. No problem getting vaccine certificate letter from both

It was in the UK paper this morning that Spain could go into Amber plus, so watch the press!
