Well done Peter for giving up the dreaded alcohol, (it is a poison after all), bet you feel better every morning when you wake up.

Can we have a head count of everybody that want to give up smoking and any other disgusting and anti-social vices, I have the easy answer, the only thing is, you have to want to do it.

Yes, I know the thread is a year old (or more) but my OH has had to give up alcohol (not that she drank much anyway) due to gallstones causing a liver malfunction. Nothing to drink all year.
However, non-alcohol stuff is quite abundant here although it took a while to find it.
All the supermarkets do non-alcohol beer and shandy. Most of them also do 0% tinto de verano. Others have a good supply.
Consum. Also does Don Simone Mosto (the must of the wine which is stopped before it ferments) in white and red. The white is very sweet and more like a dessert wine. She hasn't tried the red.
A brand called Castillo de something or other. An apple and grape mix in a wine bottle. This is a still wine and has a taste of apples. OH reckons it's better with some soda water as a spritzer. She's going to try the red next.
Now, the above are not near the wine bit. They are among the fruit juices in the top corner after the fruit and veg.
They also do several non-alcohol liqueur types such as mojito and a raspberry gin.
Mas Y Mas. Along with the Tinto de Verano they do a 0% Sangria which they call Sanfria. OH reckons it's just like normal Sangria.
Mercadona. They do the 0% Tinto de Verano and Don Simone Mosto.
Mercadona and Mas y Mas also do a reduced alcohol wine in red, rose and white. 5% sparkling wine if you just want to cut down.
A bit further afield, Iceland do Schloer (red, white and rose) but a bit expensive at 3 euro a bottle (the Castillo on in Consum is €1.04). They also do Waitrose Elderflower sparkling and Elderflower and apple at 2.75.
The bodega around the corner to the DIY in Los Montesinos does several non alcohol gin flavours but no non alcohol wine.
Shame the pubs don't do more of it. Apart from 0% beer it seems a bit of a shame you have to stick to orange juice or coke etc.
Haven't seen non alcohol stuff in Lidl or Aldi except for 0% beer and a bit disappointed in Carrefour as well.

Thanks Marcliff, yes agree what you say about bars not doing enough non alcoholic driks and I think the price for sin beer is ridiculous drink it mainly at home cost around 27 per can in the local bar was 1-20 a tin. Don't like the red wine rather the white, so thanks for your research. Pete.
