Not exactly going well, is it?

CJRK so agree they delight in "Brit bashing" well we are doing OK thanks especially now we are making the Covid Vaccine here in the UK when the EU so spitefully tried to stop us. It is 2 finger time on that. Personally I think we here in the UK should stop all from entering the UK whatever nationality, even residents who have stayed away should not be allowed back at this time.

An interesting Grauniad Opinion piece,
As Balanced, Fair, Reasoned, Measured (& of course unbiased) as one always expects from that paper.
Myself - I certainly expected large US corporations to throw everything at preventing anything that they consider to be detrimental to their interests - it is how their system works.
There are, occasionally, obvious examples that say there is a balancing consideration - mainly, I admit, driven by US internal politics - e.g. over 100 years ago Roosevelt sponsoring different anti-trust laws to put restriction on monopolies and trusts (then, over the years, the fights with Rail, Steel & ongoing Oil)
Three months in, I would propose that there were not enough background facts to have formed a balanced view?

....We knew leaving the EU would weaken us. Now we can see it will limit the ability of the government to rein in big techwell, we, certainly didn't - (Tom Kibasi just states that position as being his view in this Opinion piece)

Get off your pseudo moral high horse.
I’m British and I can bemoan the shambles that Britain is in. Just because I live, currently, in Spain does not disenfranchise me from an opinion. In the UK a large number of the 48% feel as I do, are they Brit Bashers too?
When all that has gone wrong with Brexit and Covid, citing the one recent success, the vaccine success, as proof that, ‘all is well’ in Government and in the UK, is blinkered
Your cries of “Brit basher”, “Brit basher” are becoming tedious.

A childish statement.

Brexit is going exactly as planned, .......... a lot of already wealthy people are making millions out of Brexit, it was never about the masses, it was just another tool for the rich to extract even more from the not so rich

Careful, the Quesada right wing won’t like that.

Aah bless, have I upset you, I can understand that you don't like it when anyone says something that you don't agree with so I'll leave it at that.

Oh go on then, tell me about all those neutral newspapers
Does such a thing exist?
It's you who promoted the "Guardian" point of view as meaningful.

Your initial post, in this topic, was a great example of, “you don't like it when anyone says something that you don't agree with”. Don’t you recognise that?
You’ve been studying the Trump and Johnson playbook, haven’t you. Shout down the opposition, ignore the facts and call them names.

Where are your right wing opinions formed from then?
