What's the difference to normal crumbs?

They are shaved bread crumbs and are crispier than normal ones. Excellent.

I sometimes crunch up plain crisp and add them that also makes the crust crispier

I buy the Pan Tosdido packs from Lidl and bash them in a sandwich bag, really good crunchy breadcrumbs like Panko, always take some back to UK as they're far superior to the packet breadcrumbs in UK ( like dust rather than crumbs . . .)
