PCR test at Manchester Airport Walk In

PCR test at Manchester Airport Walk In

Postby angiebabes » Fri Dec 17, 2021 9:30 am

Hi
We booked online our Randox Day 2 PCR test on arrival at Manchester Airport for 3pm at Terminal 2 yesterday. We flew with Ryanair and landed at 1pm.at Terminal 1. Walked about 15 minutes and joined the queue was asked to show our booking reference and passport, then the test was carried out within a few minutes. Very efficient service. Our negative results arrived by email at 00:19 this morning.
The cost was £55 each but received £5 discount by using Ryanair discount code. So now we can enjoy our Family Christmas xx
I have used this forum a few times myself and get some very helpful advice, so Thankyou.
Would like to wish everyone a Happy Christmas and Best wishes for 2022.

2nd recommendation for this service. Very efficient and a quick turn around for the results, a lot faster than they advertise.

I used the walk in service in August. They were a bit disorganised cos it was a new service but on balance it was a good way to do it.
I went by train and got off at first stop after airport. I used the Cornbrooks platform.

Did you have to wait until your appointment time or did they attend to you early. The reason I ask is that I am having the test 27th December at Manchester and need to be out of the airport asap as I need to catch a train.

Hi lizzyw56

We were just asked had we made an appointment, as they were only allowing people who had made appointments.
They registered us on to their system, checking our email address , so that was another thing not to worry about.
Have a safe journey

No, we didn't have to wait for our appointment time and if you didn't have an appointment you could register and join the queue. We needed appointments for our locator forms.

If you're going by train I believe that there is another firm doing PCR's at the train station (ground floor - Collinson?). Not tried these though so dyor.

After having our PCR tests with Randox at Manchester Airport we received our negative results one before midnight same day and one at 01:23
Would recommend them
