Radiology Torrevieja Hospital

I fractured my humerus 3 weeks ago and went to A and E. They took x rays, gave me pain relief and a sling to wear. On the paperwork they gave it said follow up appointment on 7th October. So far I haven't been called with a time. Does anyone have any experience with these kind of appointments? Do they speak English when you call?

Firstly check GVA Salut.

Go onto Portal de Pacient and you can check any upcoming appointments by entering your SIP card, date of birth etc. If you have an appointment then it will come up there. All you then need to do is turn up and enter your SIP card number in the booking in machine if you haven't got a barcode.

If it's not there then you can ring but it is a very busy desk and we waited nearly an hour the other day for our number to come up. The phone was constantly ringing but the girls didn't seem to have much time to answer it. Only other thing is to go to the hospital in person (downstairs) and ask in person.

Something wrong with admin in that hospital, including bad staff but I believe that’s down to a lack of cohesive management, putting staff under intolerable workloads
