I left a cloth in my new stainless steel sink that I had been using with aqua fuerta and it has now stained !
Any way I can get rid of the stains from the sink ?

Agua fuerte is a strong acid, so assuming its a stain and the steel hasn't been eaten away . . . Barkeepers Friend is the best thing I have found to remove staining from stainless steel and many other surfaces, the powder or cream version is the best. I think Pick'n'Pay in Guardamar sell it, but other British shops/market stall may too. It is an excellent stain remover.

Depends on how long you left it for. If you spotted it quickly and cleaned it there and then you may be able to get rid of the stain. If left until the stainless steel (an alloy of chromium and steel) stains too badly then it is irreversible.

However, get water, baking soda and ammonia. Make sure you wear gloves and a mask is highly advisable.
Fill a spray bottle with water and wash the stain down completely. Put water and baking soda (equal amounts depending on the size of the stain) into a bowl and mix until it becomes a paste. Apply the mixture to the stain and leave it to set (not completely hard). Clean it off and put ammonia over the stain (this is where you definitely need a mask as the fumes are very potent).

Then wash it thoroughly with clean, cold water.
If this doesn't work then you have left the stain too long and will need a new sink or live with the stained one.

Barkeepers friend is excellent for this, i did exactly the same and used the product weeks later and it removed the stains and marks with minimal scrubbing.
