Roaming charges

So now tesco mobile will be charging roaming fees, along with EE and now tesco our family of 4 will now be charged £2 a day to go to Spain!! Yet another benefit of brexit ! So our 3 week visit will cost an extra £168 ! thanks for all you lot who voted to "take back control" hope you're pleased with the mess and the lives ruined for people who wanted to retire to spain but cant now. Hope you think it was worth it

You can get a Spanish SIM card for €12 a month from lobster! Includes calls to UK and 12gb data

You can also manage without roaming... its not essential its a choice.

How many people will not do that?? Just anothet great brexit benefit voted by idiots

My wife and I are both with O2 and no roaming charges, just checked we have been in Spain since Feb 21 and our bill is still the same at £8 pm for 20GB and unlimited calls etc

We cover roaming in our Europe Zone as part of our tariffs. Your data (subject to a roaming limit), minutes and text allowances will work in our Europe Zone, just like they do at home.
If your UK monthly data allowance is over 25GB, you’ll have a Roaming Limit of 25GB when roaming in our Europe Zone. This means you can use up to 25GB of your allowance at no extra cost. We’ll text you if you’re getting close to the limit, and again if you reach it. You can still use data if you reach our Roaming Limit, but you’ll be charged. Find out more in our FAQ section below.

Because they are starting in may. £ 2 a day ,

You could get a Lebara uk sim at £5pm, no contract, ie, you can buy 1 month as and when you need it.

1000 mins & texts, 3gb data, importantly it includes roaming and also has 100 International minutes which is useful if you need to call Spain from the uk, uses Vodafone network.

Pop the sim in a second phone or your own phone's second sim port if it has one.

O2 have said they are not going to charge for roaming. All calls and msg's will come out of your normal contract

3gb enough for 3 weeks, that's under 150kb per day!

@ €12 for 25gb Lobster is far better VFM.
