Hi I'm looking for recommendations for a good English speaking lawyer/solicitor to help with my Spanish Tax forms. TIA

Fontanals Solicitors, offices in Quesada and Torrevieja. Very helpful English speaking staff, they offer a yearly package where they deal with all your fiscal matters (SUMA taxes, income tax returns, traffic fines etc;) and they include legal advice, approx €100 per person for a year. They have a website or you can call them.

Tel: 966 731 353

Good luck

There are lots around and we've tried several over the years. For tax affairs you would be best using an accountant (says he, being an ex-accountant!) rather than a solicitor, although here solicitors often have tax people in their office too. We use Susan Partridge at Ábaco in Torrevieja. They also have a legal department if you need them. It depends how complicated your affairs are really, but I would recommend Susan. They also have a helpful website: http://www.abacoadvisers.com

I have used a lady called Carmen for years to do my tax returns. I only use her for my tax as I do all my other things eg suma payments for car and house myself, as these can be paid online. The Company is http://antonyasociados.com/ and their office is near the beach in La Mata. She charges e30 to do my tax return, which is straightforward. She is Spanish but speaks English.
