Been a while since I had been on the Torrevieja forum, and had forgotten my password, so I decided to complete a new registration. As I started to read through I realised they wanted €6 a year to be a member paid via PayPal. Maybe I'm tight but I was surprised and thought, leave them to it. :snooty:

That's cheeky! - Tell them all to come on here - No charge and never will be. :lol:

Forums do cost money to run, server space etc. As hosting is my job a good server and IT help doesnt come cheap. That being said some ask for donations to help cover costs, others set a one off lifetime membership which sometimes stops the wallys or the spammers from dishing out the links to porn, russian brides and viagra's!

I suppose it depends on what the site is worth to you and how much you get out of it.
