Just turn the lying divisive news channels off.
Funnily enough, it was that very same lying gutter press, that caused another panic. Remember illegal immigrants, unelected bureaucrats and bent bananas which caused Britain to self harm itself with Brexit

Another example of the corrupt media. Twitter admits promoting right wing politicians over the left

Or another view of it is that The Grauniad chooses to use the word “admits” about a statement, freely made by the company, on a complex 27 page report about an effect that the company had not intended or knowingly engineered.
e.g. NHS “admits” that a lot of people die in its hospitals.
Fairly meaningless

Boris may well be lying and self-serving and he's definitely a buffoon but everyone on here seems to have conveniently forgotten who the alternatives were at the last election. If Corbyn had got his hands on No. 10 the UK would be at the bottom of the woodpiel by now and anyone who thinks differently is definitely delusional.
I don't think any government in the world has covered themself in glory over handling the pandemic, only today it was announced that cases in Germany have risen 70% in a week and Russia's statistics are abysmal. I don't think Boris has done any worse than many of them, they are all supposedly led by their scientists (who never agree with each other anyway).
Let's just try to get through this as best we can without constantly running everyone else down.
Maybe you might have a point about Corbyn although its difficult to imagine anyone worse than this current lot. It is comforting that you recognise bozo is a lying, self serving buffoon-just the sort of personality we need to get UK out of its current increasingly embarrassing mess. Its tragic if he is the best we can find to represent UK and as a role model.

The rest of the world must think so too, with most countries opening up to UK visitors, even the really strict ones like Australia. The pound to also climbing. A few months ago it was as low as 1.12,now its steady at over 1.18. The economy also rose by more than predicted and better than the EU and many other nations.
Yes infection rates are up, but at this stage not as claimed out of control. Deaths sitting on average 128, against 1000 last year too.
These are unprecidented times with a virus the world didn't expect or understand. This government was elected with a majority at the worst possible time and had to deal with Brexit and Covid at the same time. Regardless they have continued to get brexit done and getting covid under better control, whilst spending billions keeping the majority paid and keeping the jobs market and economy on track.
I'm with you! Cases! So what!?
This concentration on Covid has caused untold harm to so many people who haven't received the medical treatment they so need never mind the other collateral damage. Stop all this needless testing and just treat people who are sick. People need to take the vaccines when they are offered and get on with their lives. Nobody tests for flu! Just read a report which said there was a big batch of faulty PCR tests and people had the virus without knowing it! An illness you don't even know you have! The people suffering with painful cancers not getting the treatment they should have had should be so lucky! Enough of this Covid hysteria. If people chose not to have vaccines that's their choice but don't hold the rest of us hostage. Similarly if you are scared to go out stay indoors but let the rest of us live our lives. I have flown countless times since Covid and tests always been negative including the one I received yesterday. Enough of this Covid hysteria. And no, I'm not anti-vaxer. Just had my Covid Booster yesterday. We need to take the precautions we think are necessary and get on with our lives.
